Plus 6 and dry when driving in.

Saturday morning and no jockeys in.. Mat away watching his team play at Newcastle.

Gary and Tracy Betley were here third lot to see their KBRS horse Phantom Getaway.. Tracy always brings cakes she has baked to the yard for the staff..Understandably Tracy is a hugely popular owner…yummmm

Talking yumm.. The Wheatsheaf’s lunch yesterday with the Perriss's and the Ellis’s was really very good…As was supper last night with Clare's parents..

There is some really good racing around today.. The Shergar Cup at Ascot and a good two year old race in Ireland. On top of that there is a really positive article on Josh Moore in todays racing Post.

Really disappointed to see that Huntingdon has lost its Boxing Day fixture.. JCR has moved the meeting away from them to Aintree.... The North needs more racing? Wetherby is the same day..Thankfully we have one more year of Huntingdon on Boxing Day..
