Plus 10, foggy and damp when driving in.
It was mild weather and very good racing at Chepstow yesterday and we were delighted with Salt Rock’s first run of the season.
SR has not been the easiest to train and yesterday was very much a step in the right direction. Once he has a handicap mark, he will go chasing.
That was division one of the maiden hurdle and Div 2 of the race was interesting to watch as the horse that was second to The Kemble Brewery was running.. and won..
It was the end of a wonderful trainer’s career yesterday. Sir Michael Stoute who was Champion Trainer 10 times saddled his last runner at Nottingham and although it did not win it was a poignant day for all.. .. We all wish Sir Michael well in retirement.. I am sure will be watching plenty of cricket, a game the loves...

Thursday is our easy day.
We have two runners today.
