Wolverhampton on a Saturday night might not have been on my radar too often. Even if Samatian did not win Norman Carter and I had a jolly night and enjoyed the racecourse’s Horizon Restaurant..

Archie is a months break from cricket and yesterday he drove to Newcastle to stay with mates for a couple of days..You might wonder why that is of interest, but when he found that it was cheaper to drive there than go by train, even with a student rail card, you must wonder where we have gone wrong with our railways?

We have no runners today, but we will have a few more during the week.. Cheltenham starts this weekend and although we won’t have runners on Friday we hope to on Saturday. Their Showcase Meeting
