Plus 12 and dry when driving in.. It feels fresher.

Something really strange happened last night at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival.. It was rained off..

A sell out crowd to watch Gloucester take on Essex had their night was ruined by something we have not seen in these parts for sometime.. It rained and the game was soon called off.

I took Archie, his mate Paddy Clarkson and Clare, (who was making her first maiden appearance at a cricket match that did not involve watching Archie,) along for what was going to be a great night of cricket.. they were supporting the home team while I not..(born in Essex). Anyway we were looking for a good viewing area when we bumped into the most important man in Cheltenham, and this time it was not Edward Gillespie, but Chris Coley.

Chris seems to run Cheltenham and all its events; anyway he put us firmly in the VIP area….even that did not help when it rained..The boys ended having a burger for supper in Cheltenham before heading home.

Saturday morning.. Royal Supremo and Thumb Stone Blues worked.

Norman Carter was here second lot to see his Sunblazer, Diamond Gait and his son Alex’s involvement in the KBRP who own Arthur’s Sixpence

Third lot Mel Pyman and Sue Tagg were here to see their KBRP horses Chateau Robin and Kayf Storm.

The last few questions that haunt.

Why is it that no matter what colour bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

Lastly..How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?
