Magic Money

(2008 Bay Mare) By Midnight Legend out of Sticky Money

Magic Money is a three time winner over hurdles. The Partnership is delighted to have the opportunity to lease her jointly until the end of the season as a replacement for Allez Encore.

She is a tough sort who needs better ground to be seen at her best. MM finished a very creditable fourth at Ludlow in early February on her debut for the Partnership and we are looking forward to some fun days out when the ground dries up.

King Simba

(2011 Bay Gelding) By Let the Lion Roar out of Anaaween

This is an attractive son of Let The Lion Roar – who finished 3rd in the 2004 Derby.

King Simba made a very encouraging debut in a National Hunt Flat Race at Southwell in April 2015. It was a competitive race and after showing initial greenness (inexperience) he was only beaten seven lengths behind a certain Younevercall who is now his stablemate!

This season has been tough going because we haven't had the appropriate ground for KS and it has taken him a while to learn his trade. That said he has posted two promising efforts in novice hurdles already this season and he now has a handicap rating of 104.

Much like Magic Money he won't be seen again until the soft ground disappears. King Simba will be aimed at two mile handicap hurdles. He has the most wonderful temperament and is a very eye catching mover and we are confident that the Partnership's patience will be justly rewarded before the season closes.

SR has not been the easiest to train and yesterday was very much a step in the right direction. Once he has a handicap mark, he will go chasing. That was division one of the maiden hurdle and Div 2 of the race was interesti...
